“Miraculous” Kids’ Franchise Expands with Chibi Spin-Off, Lands Disney Deal

The global animated phenomenon “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir” is branching out with a new chibi-style spin-off targeting younger audiences. Called “Miraculous Chibi,” the mini-shorts feature comedic, dialogue-free antics of the popular Parisian superheroes in more lighthearted escapades. Media giants Disney and TF1 quickly acquired broadcasting rights, betting on the show’s mass appeal, especially given that brief episodes are easy for new or younger viewers to follow.
