Editorial Standards
At TheWkly, we're committed to delivering accurate, balanced, and transparent news coverage. These standards guide everything we publish.
Source Verification
- We aggregate news from established, reputable news organizations
- Each story cites its original sources with direct links
- We cross-reference claims across multiple outlets before publishing
- Breaking news is clearly labeled when verification is ongoing
Bias Transparency
Every story on TheWkly includes a bias indicator showing the political distribution of our sources:
- Visual bias bar shows Left/Center/Right source distribution
- Total number of sources is displayed for each story
- We strive for balanced coverage across the political spectrum
- Source ratings are based on established media bias research
AI Transparency
We use AI technology to help curate and summarize news. Here's how we're transparent about it:
- AI-assisted content is clearly labeled
- Human editors review AI-generated summaries for accuracy
- We disclose when images are AI-generated
- AI helps with analysis, but editorial judgment remains human
Corrections Policy
We take accuracy seriously. When we make mistakes, we fix them transparently:
- Corrections are made promptly when errors are identified
- Updated stories show "Last Updated" timestamps
- Significant corrections are noted within the article
- To report an error, contact us at davit.avagyan@finopsys.org
